I went to music school by the time I turned 21 I graduated and moved to Hollywood. My hobbies are listening to music, making music, playing music, and playing any kind of sport. My interests are music, sports, Spongebob, family, and hanging out. The reason I moved to Hollywood is because there is a lot of opportunity’s there especially if it involves music. I love music. Edublog Challenge #6 Volunteering

April26

This week we are on the Edublog Challenge #6  and it is about volunteering. The place I would l would like to volunteer at would be Relay For Life. Their are a lot of organizations here in the county , but this ones the only one that caught my eye. The reason I would like to volunteer here is because their are a lot of children and adults that have cancer. Half of them don’t have the money to pay for the surgery , and I would like to help with the fundraisers they have, so they could pay of the treatments they need. This is important to me because I have seen a lot of people with cancer and they need help right away. The thing I would get in return is knowing that I have help someone in the world, and now there is one less person out there that doesn’t need money for their bills and treatments. You can volunteer in anyway even giving money to a helpless person will make you feel good inside! So get out there and change the world! (: Any+Way+You+Can

The Persian Wars

April16

Today I’m going to pretend that I’m a Persian soldier and I survived the battle.

Hi, I am one of the greatest soldiers who fought and survived the battles against Greeks! I got called to the war by my sargeant. He said they needed me out on  the battlefield, so I got out there and gave it my best shot. I got my strongest weapons that would bring us victory and apparently it did. The battle lasted two days, but eventually we got through it. I am now known as one of the greatest fighters who has ever survived the battle.

Each+war+is+different%2C+each+war+is+the+same

The battle was fierce and very competitive, it had this smell that you couldn’t stand but I got used to it. The only thing I could taste in the air was the blood from the soldiers falling down and giving their best shot. The battle smelt so bad like dead fish in the stinky ocean, it smelled like this because of all the dead body’s surrounding me. My weapon was so heavy especially with all the armor on me, I was the last survivor on my side. There were over 2,000 and more soldiers and I fought them off me. Right when someone was about to swing at me, the last thing I saw was me killing the last soldier on the other side. Victory was the last thing I saw.

Math Blog Post

March30

Today in math class we learned about perimeter and area. The area of a figure is the number of non-overlapping unit squares needed to cover the figure. Area is measured in square units. The base of a parallelogram is the length of one side. It’s height is the perpendicular distance from the base to the opposite side. For a rectangle the base is the same as the length and the height is the same as the width. I also learned about composite figures. A composite figure is made up of simple geometric shapes such as triangles and rectangles. The other area I learned about was a circle and the center. A circle is the set of all points in a plane that are the same distance from a given point called the center. That’s everything I learned in math class this week Bye.

Letter Home From Sparta

March29

Today I am going to pretend that I’m a spartan and I’m writing to my mom and dad. That name in the bottom is not my real it’s my Spartan name.

Dear Mom and Dad,

Now that I am a Spartan life has been wonderful for me and I’m OK, so don’t worry. I got to train in sports like running, wrestling , and throwing the javelin. I did these sports because I had to turn into a healthy mother and so far I am healthy. Right now I’m living at home while my husband lives in the barracks. I am lucky that I’m a spartan because Greek women aren’t as free as us Spartans. We could go any where we want and we could own the property we wanted.  I already have a boy and in a couple months  when he turns seven he’s going to have to go live in the Barracks, so they could toughen him up and see if he’s man enough to become a Spartan.

The government is an oligarchy so that means only a few people hold power of it. The council holds twenty-eight citizens over age sixty. We are lucky we are Athens because they couldn’t do everything us Spartans do like voting and sports to become healthy fit mothers. All they did was stay at home and learn to read and write, so they couldn’t be out all the  time. So thank you mom and dad for making be into a healthy sporty daughter!

Love Marina Martha Anahi

What I Did In Math This Week

March9

In math this week I took benchmark tests. I took one for ELA , History , Math , and Science. The math test had the same amount of questions that the Star Test would have and whatever I got on the benchmark showed how I would do on the Star Test. Some of the questions were hard, but I underlined my key words and evantually got the answer. Then there were some answers that we haven’t even studied, but I took my best guess. That’s what I did in math class this week. Bye Friends!(:

What My Life Would Be When I’m 65

March8

In this post I am pretending to be 65 and writing to my middle school self.

Hello, Anahi life has been great! I am going to the gym everyday to stay healthy. I ran the marathon 2 years ago, it was very tiring. I always take trips to Hawaii every summer and take my grandchildren to Disney Land every year.

When you are in 7th grade you will be in the cheer leading team and, volleyball team and basketball team. You have to keep your grades up to be in sports. When you are in high school you will graduate and go to the college you wanted to go to. You become a vet at the age of 24 , but  then you quit and become a musician, you don’t become famous although you do get known by a lot of people. You will be getting paid very well and with the money you get you end up buying a house in Florida. You get 1 son and 2 daughters and get married with a cosmetic surgeon. When you are 45 you become a nurse and get a lot of money. Your kids grow up to be nice, and good workers like their mom and dad.

Sample Spaces

March7

This week in math we learned about sample spaces. You could do three things to find sample spaces. The first way is to make a chart, the second way is to set up a tree, and finally the third way is to use the fundamental counting principal. If you make a chart then you have to make sure you listed all of your possible combinations and make sure you labeled. If you want too set up a tree then you list all the things your comparing. Finally if you use the fundamental counting principal to do this one you have to find the total outcomes for your compound event by multiplying. That’s what I learned in math last week thanks for reading.Bye!(:

Florida Fog Incident

March7

Today in science we were learning about the recent clouds that formed in Florida. Me and my partner Breeyana looked at this interesting incident. The pictures we saw looked fake but their 100% real. At first I didn’t think they were real, but then my teacher showed us that the clouds ended up on the news! I was very suprised at how clouds could form.  They started forming off shore then the winds off shore pushed the moist air from south to north. Then the clouds started rising a little bit of forming it’s crest and going back down.  They location where the clouds formed was Panama City,Florida. That’s what we learned in Scinece today thanks for reading!(:
